Here at Bristol Windows, we’ve refined our window installations to a step-to-step process for the years. From removing the old window to completing a beautiful, airtight installation for your new window, here’s what you can expect when we arrive at your home:

• Remove the old window: The first step to replacing a window is removing the old one. We’ll expertly take out the old window without damaging your nearby walls or exterior landscaping. We’ll also take care of disposing of the old window for you. 
• Adjust opening if needed: If your new window is a different size, we’ll make careful adjustments to the opening for a perfect fit. 
• Install flashing to prevent water damage: Some remodelers skip this step, but not Bristol Windows. We place flashing in the window aperture to keep your new window watertight, preventing leaks and moisture issues in the future. 
• Install the new window: Next, we place the new window in the prepared opening. This step is harder than it looks, as windows are very heavy and very delicate. 
• Level the new window if needed: We double check or work to make sure the window is perfectly level. 
• Nail the window into place: If everything looks good, we nail the window in place to keep it from shifting over time.
• Test operation: The final step! We’ll open and close the new window to make sure it operates smoothly. If there are any issues, we’ll fix them right away.
